Battles Los Angeles
In the beginning there was peace as all the known species lived together in harmony. This was to soon change. What at first was thought to be a mere meteor shower quickly turned into an attempted manslaughter against humanity. These species of aliens, which were never to be named in the moive, sought to make quick work of these humans and take over the world as we know it. The only thing between these aliens and major cities like Los Angeles were our brave men and women in uniform.
This is where a small squad of marines comes into the movie. A rookie Lieutenant, a honored staff sergeant with a dark past haunting him, and a group of jarheads who would follow their lieutenant through Hell and back. However, less can be said about the respect they have for their staff sergeant. Their job; to save Los Angeles.
TopOverall I love the movie. It was the almost perfect balance of action and plot; not every scene was filled with combat and at the same time the movie was not slow. It was very quick and to the point, which is what I like; I don't like too much back story or the movie can get boring. At the same time I do not like too much combat because the movie can get repititive Top
